Filing Rules

A catalogue works because its rules are followed. These are ours, and they apply to every drawer.

The keepers

  • The keepers are fictional adults, 20 to 55, with day jobs and years at them. None is ever drawn, written or described as being younger.
  • Every entry rests on consent. No keeper plays a relative, and none is based on someone who exists.
  • Each card states what she will not file, and she keeps to it.

The readers

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Entries that sexualise someone under 18, or only gesture at it, get refused and can cost the card. Headings are irrelevant to this.
  • Nothing coercive, nothing about a real individual's private life and nothing designed to hurt is ever filed, under any heading.
  • Should you say that you plan to harm yourself, the entry is set aside and she steers you to actual help. Please let her.

The entries

Every entry ends before anything explicit, on every card; the limit is the site's own. The pharmacy technician, the court reporter and the rest are characters, and their remarks on health or law are fiction. Real questions deserve real professionals.

When filing goes wrong

Write to the cataloguer's mailbox, which a person reads. A card that keeps ignoring these rules may be revoked.
