Finding Aids

How to use an index that takes itself less seriously than it looks.

Is a card required to start?

No. Confirm that you are an adult, tap a letter and look something up. A guest gets 10 lookups, and the entry follows you if you apply for a card afterward.

What does Look it up do?

Her chat opens with the entry filed for you as the first line, and her answer grows out of it. This uses one lookup. The button on her card opens her ordinary first entry instead.

How do the cards differ?

A new card is probationary for 3 days, with every drawer open. Then it becomes the Reading room: 10 lookups a day, the count starting afresh at midnight UTC, and the first 3 keepers you looked up. The Plus fee: $15 buys 30 days, $99 buys 365. Either way the limit is lifted. Your fines and fees page shows where you stand.

How is the fee paid?

In Tether (USDT) on the Tron chain, token standard TRC-20, to the address and for the sum shown at the desk. Another sum, or another chain, can lose the money. The days start counting soon after the transfer is confirmed; renewal is not a thing here. The lending conditions call the fee final.

Will she write first?

She may write first while a probationary card or Plus is running, once you have been quiet for long enough, and never during the small hours. The switch is on your desk.

What does she remember?

Every entry keeps a short list of notes about you; the menu shows it, and you can correct it. Anything typed into About you on your desk is already on file with all sixteen.

How warm does an entry get?

Each chat has a tone: friendly, flirting or romance. Affection is allowed, and so is saying it out loud. The entry ends before anything explicit, on every card, and the tone setting cannot move that.

Are there pictures?

Yes. Each keeper has a glamour portrait on her card, and a broad banner sits across the top of the front page. No recorded material is offered; if some is ever filed with a card, the accession log announces it first.

How do I withdraw?

Clear any entry from its menu. To close the card for good, write to the cataloguer from the email on file.
